Recovery, that’s how to best think about what you eat after a workout or training session. Not a “reward” to eat junk. Reward your body by nourishing it with REAL food and providing the vitamins, minerals, protein, and everything it needs. Life and food is about balance.
I’m suggesting a shift away from “since I worked out so I earned...” mindset. Try to get an anti-inflammatory after a tough workout too- cherries, blueberries or pineapple are my top recommendations!
